Here we learn Chinese consonants: some consonants are similar to consonants in English but some are not and need your concentration on practise: b - as as "p" but not breathe out p - as the "p" in "pen" m - as the "m" in "month" f - as the "f" in "fang" d - as the "t" in "team" t - as the "t" in "ten" n - as the "n" in "nose" l - as the "l" in "lonely" g - as the "g" in "god" k - as the "k" in "king" h- as the "h" in "home" j- practise it q- as the "ch" in "choose" x- as the "s" in "sit" z- as the "z" in "zero" c- as the "ts" in "tsunami" s- as the "s" in "sun" r- as the "r" in "red" 'zh, ch, sh' are similar to, but strictly different from 'j, q, x' respectively so please practise it y- as the "y" in "yes" w- as the "w" in "wood"
